Card Writers Ministry


Communicates with members through sending inspirational cards as a loving outreach vehicle; provides concern, encouragement, and comfort for important life events.

Christian Education Ministry


Promotes educational opportunities that strengthen a believer’s Christian walk through innovative classes, the establishment of empowering calendar events, development of spiritual growth oriented activities, and supporting holiday and special programming.

Deacon Ministry


Supports the membership by providing pastoral care and encouragement; assures smooth running worship services; presides over prayer and praise meetings; assists the Pastor in assigned duties; visits the sick; prepares and serves communion; represents the church within and outside the community.

Evangelism Ministry


Our Evangelism Ministry focuses on the needs of those searching for a relationship with God and those who have yet to see the need to have a relationship with God.  We witness to others by sharing the impact that Christ has had on the lives of believers.  Classes, activities, and events are scheduled to help others explore this foundational, spiritual, and viseral need.

Financial Ministry


Supervises financial and operational aspects of the church including budgeting, personnel management, approval of expenditures, and building and property maintenance.

Food Pantry Ministry


Demonstrates God’s love by the sharing of resources; offers hope, physical and spiritual nourishment by providing food for those in need; educates the community on nutrition; makes available prayer opportunities for food recipients.

Hospitality Ministry


Skillfully plans, coordinates, and organizes meals, repasts, and special events whenever dining takes place.

Media Ministry


Oversees and maintains microphones and sound system operations; controls audio-visual equipment; records services and events.

Men's Ministry


The Men's Ministry emphasizes the needs of both men and younger males.  Its vision is to embrace the desparate need for inter-generational work though the modeling of godly behavior for our boys, teens, and young adults.  Members of the ministry meet to address the physical needs of the church and the spiritual needs of the men and boys.   Email: mountzion15@aol.com


Music Ministry


Ministers and “makes a joyful noise to the Lord” in song and music during services and programs.

Nurses Ministry


Provides first-aid care during services and church events; presents informative health care education and opportunities.

Ushers Ministry


Welcomes and directs all who enter the sanctuary; assists with offering collection; distributes worship materials; assists in the preparation for receiving communion; maintains order during services. 

Willing Workers Ministry


Assists with hospitality tasks, maintenance and preparation for special occasions; offers ongoing support for events and special projects.



Youth and Young Adult (YAYA)


Addresses the needs of those between 3 and 35 through education, special programming, trips, social activities, participation in youth activities locally, throughout the state and out of state; develops leadership skills and offers service to the church and community through volunteering of time and talents.
